Announcing Featured Speaker:
Dr. Wayne Grudem

We are pleased to announce that our special guest speaker at our 2019 Annual Spring Benefit will be Dr. Wayne Grudem, renowned theologian and author who is currently Research Professor of Theology and Biblical Studies at Phoenix Seminary in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Grudem and his wife, Margaret, are among Christian Heritage Academy's five founding families. They had a dream and a calling from the Lord to establish a Christian school on the North Shore, and now, as we celebrate our 35th year, we also celebrate the faithfulness of the Grudems and many other families over the years who have invested in the mission of CHA.

We hope you will plan to join us for this very special evening with Dr. Grudem. Watch for your invitation to arrive in your email inbox in the next few weeks.

Service Learning Week Highlights

The week of January 7-11, our students embarked on CHA's first-ever Service Learning Week. While Upper School students served on mission trips, both in and out of the country, Preschool-Grade 7 had varied learning and serving opportunities both on- and off-campus. The stories of how God worked in and through the hearts of our students are many. Please join us at the chapels listed above to hear more!

Annual Spring Benefit
Auction Items

Do you have Christmas gifts that weren't exactly right? Don't return or re-gift them - donate them to the auction! The Benefit Committee would love to have new items that can be included in Auction baskets. We are also looking for donations of empty baskets in good condition to use for creating auction items. Donations can be received in the CHA office. Questions? Email: Keisha Thomas, Benefit Co-Chair.

Box Tops for Education
Winter Class Competition

From now until February 26th, turn in Box Tops with your child's name and teacher included. The class with the most will win a popcorn party!

Mrs. Weber's class won last fall. Will they keep their title or will another class win? Collection sheets will be sent home soon! Our goal is for each child to fill one sheet. Look on common household products like: Ziplock, General Mills and Kleenex. We need everyone's help to make this a success! Each Box Top is money that goes straight to CHA!  Click to see a list of products that have the Box Tops for Education coupon.

CHA to Host Speech and Debate Tournament
Wed-Sat, March 27-30

CHA is pleased to be hosting the Illinois State Speech and Debate Tournament for the National Christian Forensics and Communication Association (NCFCA) in which 200-300 students from all over the Midwest will convene at our facility.

Some of our own students will be participating in the tournament. To ensure success, it is critical that many from our community participate by serving as judges and in other volunteer capacities for the tournament. Nearly 200 judges are needed for this event. No experience is necessary. Training is provided. Judges must be 18 or over. Click here to learn more, or sign up to judge.
