Is there a Christian family you know who might enjoy the fun activities and fellowship of Family Fest while experiencing a taste of CHA's great community life? This is a great opportunity to introduce them to CHA!

What is a "Gaga!" Walk/Run?
It's a fun opportunity to exercise with your CHA friends as you contribute to the purchase of a Gaga Ball Pit for our school!

A portion of "Gaga" Walk/Run registration fee proceeds go toward the purchase of a Gaga Ball Pit for CHA. Each runner/walker will also receive a special edition CHA t-shirt.

End of Season Tournaments

As our spring sport seasons come to an end, please mark your calendars for these season ending tournaments. Come out and cheer on our CHA athletes!

Upper School Boys Baseball - 1st round regional game, Thursday, May 16, 6:30 PM at Chicago Hope Academy vs. Rochelle Zell. If they win 2nd round game would be Saturday, May 18, 2:30 PM at Chicago Hope Academy.

Upper School Track & Field - Sectional preparation meet, Monday May 13, 4:00 PM at Christian Liberty Academy.

Upper School Boys Volleyball - 1st round regional match, Monday May 20, 5:30 PM at St. Viator vs. St. Viator. If they win 2nd round match would be Tuesday May 21, 5:30 PM at St. Viator vs. Maine South.

Let's wish all of our athletes well as the seek to glorify God on the field of competition. And let's see if we can pack the stands at these meets/games/matches to show our support.

Begin now to plan for tax savings next year. Every CHA family can allocate a portion of their Illinois income tax to help support our financial aid program. Now is the time to act for your 2019 taxes, payable in January 2020. Do not wait! The amount you designate is up to you. Do not miss this opportunity.

Dress Code Guidelines for 2019-2020

Our desire at CHA is to partner with parents and encourage our students to be excellent in character and conduct, including values of respect, faithfulness and accountability.

For 2019-20, the current dress code of “Fit and Modesty Guidelines” will continue with a few minor modifications.  The guidelines can be accessed on Parent Central, quick link: Dress Code 2019-2020.

Service Learning Week
January, 2020

Planning for next year's Service Learning Week is already underway - and we are very excited about all of the serving opportunities!

Upper School and 8th-grade parents - Please watch for an email with the serving trip options in the next few weeks, including general information. The opportunity to sign-up and pay a required deposit will then follow!

In addition to local serving opportunities, mission service trip options include travel to France, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Texas (travel dates to be announced).  Please be praying with your students about what God has in store for them in 2019-2020.

Host a CHA International Student

The Admissions Office is seeking families willing to host international students attending CHA for the school year 2019-20.

The host family is responsible for providing basic accommodations including food, a bedroom, a place for the student to study, and daily transportation to and from CHA.

Families are compensated for providing this assistance.

Golf Equipment for PE Classes

Do you have golf equipment you no longer need? Mrs. Brady is seeking the following donations for use in Elementary PE classes:

  • USED golf balls
  • junior-sized golf clubs--especially putters
  • pitching wedges
  • #9 irons (including LEFT-handed clubs) 

Please note final dates for these school programs:

Fri. May 17 - Library ends, all books due.
Fri. May 24 - Last day for Kiddos lunch.
Wed. May 29 - Fine Arts & PE end.
Thurs. May 30 - Last day to receive milk.
