Walker's Weekly

January 11, 2019

It was a full house for last night's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) training with Ms. O’Keefe from The Village for Families & Children. Students are preparing to do tax returns for low income families as part of the VITA program, a partnership between the IRS, United Way and the Village for Children and Families. In 2017 and 2018, Walker's girls helped return close to $400,000 in refunds and credits to greater Hartford families.
