Gulliver’s 2018 National Merit Scholarship Competition Semifinalists

Last year, more than 1.6 million juniors nationwide entered the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The pool of Semifinalists that comes from that qualifying test represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, and five Gulliver seniors earned Semifinalist recognition. >>Meet Gulliver's Semifinalists.

Middle School Yearbook Honors
Students who produced Gulliver’s 2017-18 Middle School yearbook, We Got the POWER, have a big reason to celebrate. The book earned “First Class” from the National Scholastic Press Association as well as all “Superior” and “Excellent” marks from the Florida Scholastic Press Association. >>Yearbook pride.

Meet Head Boys’ Soccer Coach Chris Bart-Williams

Gulliver’s new boys’ soccer coach, Chris Bart-Williams, is excited to take the helm of the program. He will strive to teach current players about Gulliver’s strong soccer tradition, while motivating them to build their own legacies in this new era in Gulliver soccer. Coach Bart-Williams began his professional soccer career at age 16 in the Premier League (the top English soccer league). >>More on the new coach and a season preview.

HEAD OF SCHOOL'S CORNER

It has been great to see so many of you at recent events, and we look forward to coming together at upcoming ones. This month, I want to provide an update about our work on security matters. As you recall, we commissioned Michael Dorn of Safe Havens International to complete a safety audit of our campus security, which was completed late this summer. The report indicated many strengths in our systems and protocols already. >>More about our work on security matters.
