PS/LS Bingo Night, MS Movie Night and US Social Tomorrow

Bingo Night, Movie Night, and US Social We have a special night of fun activities planned for all of our students tomorrow evening, Friday, February 9th! PS and LS students and their parents won't want to miss our annual Bingo Night held in the gymnasium starting at 6pm. Right across the hall, MS students will enjoy watching a movie from 6 - 7:30pm. And US students can enjoy a little dancing and socializing in Hope Hall from 6 - 8pm. Don't miss out on the fun!

We've received some wonderful feedback from both parents and faculty following the launch of our new website and the enhancements to our Patriot Portal. While the response has been overwhelmingly positive, we have discovered a few things we can do better!

Lunch Menu
While many of our families love the ease and convenience of having the lunch menu sync with their calendars, some of you miss the printable PDF version that we used to employ. For your convenience, we will now offer both options!

If you'd like to sync the monthly menu to your calendar you can do so following these steps:

To print the PDF version of the menu, simply visit the Patriot Portal, scroll down to the Resources section, and select Printer Friendly Lunch Menu.

At-A-Glance Calendar
While we strongly encourage families to take advantage of the Family Calendar available to them in our Patriot Portal; we understand that many of you find it beneficial to have an At-A-Glance calendar that includes key vacation and school closing dates. To that end, the Resources section of the Patriot Portal will now offer a Vacation Calendar. This printable calendar will include key dates such as: Holiday Observances (i.e. President's Day), Winter Break, Spring Break, Graduation, and P/T Conferences.

We hope you will find these enhancements helpful and appreciate your feedback on such an important initiative!

A Contemporary Theater of Connecticut(ACT) is producing the upcoming show of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which will feature several members of the RA community. RA parent and one of ACT's Founders, Katie Diamond said, "The kids are in NINE songs! They have a ton to do and will be onstage for most of the show. It's a big job!" The show will be running for three performances at the Ridgefield Playhouse on February 24 at 2pm and 8pm and February 25 at 2pm.
