Save the Date for Touch-A-Truck

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 1 from 9-11am because the 7th annual Touch-A-Truck is coming to Ridgefield Academy and Landmark Preschool! A variety of construction and emergency vehicles will be on location at RA and children are encouraged to touch, climb, and learn! A food truck will be on hand and guests can visit our Book Fair and Art Beats exhibit as well! This event is a popular one and children not only learn how these vehicles are used every day but also enjoy getting behind the wheel, turning on sirens and blowing horns. Please RSVP to let us know you will be joining us! And also share this event with your friends on FaceBook!

Art Beats is Coming

Art Beats is coming the first week in June and will feature art work from Grades K-3 that will hang in the Summit Building. It will showcase all work completed during the second half of the year. Classes will informally tour the show to learn about projects in upcoming years. In addition, Kindergarten students will take their buddies through the show and tell them about their art. This event will happen at the same time as the RA Book Fair and Touch-A-Truck events.

LS Spring Book Drive

Children's books geared towards PreK-Grade 3/4 will be collected during the month of May as part of the LS Book Drive. All books donated will be collected in the Summit Lobby and used in the Lower School to grow classroom libraries. Any extras will be donated. The Book Drive will run until the Book Fair beginning May 31. Please bring in those books!

Our cross country team made us so proud last week at the regional meet at RA.

RA Food Drive: Hunger Doesn't Take a Summer Vacation

RA is holding an all-school food drive benefitting the Ridgefield Food Pantry. Please see a complete list of what is being collected here!  Grade 2 will deliver some of the food on their May field trip to the pantry.
