I have been in my position for two months and have already had the pleasure of meeting many alumni. I am impressed with the love SAS alumni have for the school, the strong connections alumni have with each other, and the eagerness of alumni to give back to our community. Read more>>

Blair Berg, class of 2002: Coming full circle on the court

The last time Blair Berg was here, he tri-captained his second ISAS volleyball championship team. Niket Desai, class of 2005: Reluctant middle schooler turned entrepreneur

Niket Desai sat down in the same chair he used over 15 years ago. Taking off his sunglasses, he scanned the middle school library hung with colorful flags from around the world and filled with neat rows of bookshelves.  For the young teenagers hanging around the middle school library, it was hard to ignore Niket's nostalgic smile as his mind raced through memories of friends, teachers, and life-changing experiences.  Read more >>

Gifts support improvements for SAS's rainforest

Alumni from the 1990s may remember the efforts of students and faculty to preserve the school's rainforest when the Woodlands campus was being developed. Today, the 1.58 acre rainforest on campus continues to be a valued part of our community and thanks to the nearly SGD $2 million in gifts received in 2014-15, $300,000 was allocated to protect and restore this unique outdoor learning space. Remember when...

ASSISTS social service club in 1985:  ASSISTS (American School Students In Service To Singapore) members visited and planned activities for the Vietnamese refugee camp, volunteered at the Home for the Aged, and sponsored the "Mail for Tots" program. This was the first year of this club. Students at SAS today continue to have a strong commitment to community service. Click here to share your memories of ASSISTS and other service groups you were involved with as a student or faculty member at SAS.
