Dear Lower School families,

We are ecstatic to welcome our students back on campus and restart our school year tomorrow!

I want to clarify our dismissal procedures for this transitional period so it will go as smoothly as possible. Alley pick-up and walk-up pick-up for the Lower School will be centralized in the hallway in front of the gym. Please see below for details.

K-Bridge and Kindergarten:

  • Begins at 3:00 p.m.
  • Carpool pick-up will continue in the alley as before. If your student has an older sibling in Lower School, you may wait to pick up your K-Bridge or Kindergarten student until 3:15pm.
  • Walk-up pick-up will be near the entrance to the gym and library. Please be sure to park in the parking lot diagonally across from the school (not the lot with the portables and not Meyerland Plaza).

1st-3rd Grades:
  • Begins at 3:15 p.m.
  • Carpool pick-up will continue in the alley as before. Please do not pull into the alley until 3:15 p.m. so that our K-Bridge and Kindergarten parents can pick-up first.
  • Walk-up pick-up will be near the entrance to the gym and library.
    • We will form lines according to signs and cones placed in the area.
    • If you have a dismissal card, great! Please bring it. If not, do not worry. A staff member will be collecting cards and names of 10 families at a time.
    • Please be sure to park in the parking lot diagonally across from the school (not the lot with the portables and not Meyerland Plaza).

4th-5th Grades:
  • Begins at 3:15 p.m.
  • Carpool pick-up on Jackwood Street will continue. Please do not ask for your child to cross the street. The student loading zone is only on the school side of Jackwood street.
  • Alley pick-up is allowed with a younger sibling.

Information for all families:
  • We are operating with safety as the priority. Please be mindful and respectful of all requests made by school staff.
  • Please be sure to park in the parking lot diagonally across from the school (not the lot with the portables and not Meyerland Plaza).
  • Do not leave your car unattended on Jackwood Street or Endicott Lane after 2:30 p.m.

Thank you for your cooperation as we feel out what will work best for our students at the end of the day. We will continue to refine this process to make dismissal as smooth and efficient as possible.
