Dear {vc:nick_name},

We are writing to share information about the upcoming Girls Rock! Conference, which we are hosting for the first time at Waynflete on Friday, March 22, from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. This conference brings together students, grades 5-8, from all over the state to share stories, learn alongside one another, and have fun!

We have reserved enough slots for every interested student to participate in the “Girls Rock! Conference” on Parent Conference Day, 3/22. Parents just need to fill out the registration form below. With the information from the form, we will register your child (the School will take care of payment). Here is more information about the conference workshops and the conference mission.
Please register by Wednesday, March 13.

In the evening, we will host the annual Girls Rock! Awards ceremony, which is a great opportunity to hear from leaders who are advocating for greater voice and inclusivity in our world. The event will be held in the Arts Center lobby and the Theater starting at 5:30 p.m. The awards ceremony is a fundraiser. To find more information and purchase tickets, click the button below.

Hardy Girls is clear in their mission that they are inclusive and welcome students who identify as female or gender-fluid into all of their programs.

Maya Angelou wrote, “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit to the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” We share this wisdom with you because we believe strongly that the growth and change that our children are experiencing is in fact part of their emergence. Our job as educators is to create opportunities for our students to see themselves and one another in increasingly authentic and complex ways.

Please let us know if you have any questions, and register your child for the upcoming Girls Rock conference!
